Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Monetary Diversity. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Nature of Services

Monetary Diversity provides one-time consulting services to individuals and organizations on topics related to money systems, complementary currencies, community currencies, and related educational matters.

We do not offer financial, investment, legal, or trading advice. Our services are strictly consultative and educational.

2. Clients

We work with both individuals and organizations. Each engagement is treated on a case-by-case basis to meet specific needs.

3. Payment Terms

Fees are communicated and agreed upon in advance.

Invoices are payable within 30 days and may be settled in either:

  • Euros (EUR)
  • Val’heureux (a recognized local currency)
    Payment methods and currency must be agreed upon before the session. Late payments may incur reminder fees.

4. Cancellations

Consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the agreed service cost.

5. Confidentiality

All client information shared during the consultation is kept confidential. No information will be disclosed to third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

Materials, tools, and content shared during consultations remain the intellectual property of Monetary Diversity unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients are granted a non-transferable right to use them for internal purposes only.

7. Limitation of Liability

Monetary Diversity is not liable for any decisions or outcomes resulting from the use of our consulting services. Clients accept full responsibility for their actions following the consultation.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the consulting relationship at any time. Services delivered up to the point of termination remain payable.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Liège.


Sales Terms for Event Tickets 

Tickets are issued via email and include a barcode for entry; confirmation is sent immediately upon purchase. Tickets are personal and require identification at the event entrance to verify that the holder matches the name on the ticket. A full refund is available within 14 days of purchase, provided the request is made before the event date. If the event is canceled, ticket holders will receive a full refund. Tickets cannot be transferred unless approved by the organizers through a specific request to info@monetarydiversity.org.

Attendees must respect all participants and the venue. The organizers reserve the right to remove individuals who violate this policy. There are no age restrictions for the event. Accessibility is ensured for attendees with disabilities. The organizers are not liable for any unforeseen events beyond their control that may affect the event, such as natural disasters, nor for disruptions in the ticket buyers' journey.

No recordings, images, or sound may be taken during the event without the formal written consent of the organizer, Monetary Diversity. Attendees may not contact media outlets or represent the event without similar consent. Participants agree to have their images used in future communication materials, including videos and recordings of the event for the promotion of Monetary Diversity or use in pedagogical content.

The event is governed by the laws of Liege, Belgium. Organizers may cancel any ticket sales at their discretion.
